Visiting museums has not been something I particularly enjoyed during my life. Not because I don’t like art, but because it is just too passive. It often is too crowded to read the small labels properly and they don’t tell anything interesting. Yes, they say the artist whom the piece created, but it does not tell anything about the context in which it was created or about the artist’s life.
This can be solved by paying for a guide who will guide you around the museum, but for some reason, I just never did this. The same is true for an audio guide; a recorded voice that will tell you a boring story about the art piece. Both of these options are still very passive and boring.
A museum in Lahti, Finland, asked to find a solution for this problem and make a prototype of the solution. Together with my classmate and good friend Luc Buizer, I like to introduce you to Mr Wilson.
